New Year’s Enthusiasm in Marmaris
Marmaris approached the year 2023 with energy and unity. In Marmaris, the world’s pearl, the excitement around the New Year is still going strong. Everyone from 7 to 70 enjoys the New Year’s Bazaar and nightly musical events hosted on 19 May Youth Square thanks to the Marmaris Municipality.
New Year Celebration in Marmaris
The New Year’s Bazaar, which was inaugurated in Marmaris on May 19 as the city prepared to ring in the new year, is a popular gathering place for both locals and visitors. Since it was established, the area, where a variety of goods are presented for sale, from local goods to souvenirs, from books to paintings, from local delicacies to toys in all areas of Turkey, has drawn a lot of attention. New year’s enthusiasm in Marmaris is really cool.
Hand-made Turkish products
Particularly local residents who express delight with the accessibility of local goods buy here for New Year’s. Products unique to Marmaris are sold at the stand established by Marmaris Agricultural Development Cooperative (MARKO), including laurels, pine honey with geographical indications, and peanuts with geographical indications.
